The State requires both new and renewing notaries to have:
   1)  2” x 2” Color Application Photo to be submitted with your application to the Secretary of State the day of the class.
   2)  Live Scan Fingerprints for a complete background check with the FBI & State Department of Justice
   3)  Valid Picture ID (driver’s license, ID or passport) to identify you; a $40 check or money order payable
        to the Secretary of State (NO CASH) and a pencil to take the state test.
   4)  Class registration, Live scan, photos and breakfast starts @ 7:30 am - so arrive early!  
  
     You can bring $ 95 the day of the class for your background checks, rolling fee & 2 color photos. 
      Class starts at 8:30 am till about 4 pm, Q & A till about 4:30 when the State Proctor will give the testing “rules” and
      then the 30-question State-proctored test while the information is still fresh in your mind.
