Who is the
Instructor?Janice Tatangelo began her Notary
career in 1992 as a "Mobile Notary" which was a fairly new concept.
Jan started teaching notary classes in 2000 originally for the National
Notary Association at the local Community College. AV Notary Network
was created in 2003 to fill a void for providing local notaries
continuing education and special events to add confidence and
professionalism. Jan was honored to be chosen a National
Notary Association Honoree in 2005, one of the five finalists for Notary of the Year. Jan was an NNA Ambassador for over
10 years and continues to work to educate the public on the requirements
of notarization and how Notary Publics benefit their community every day.
Jan
created a unique curriculum that not only teaches the 108 Important
Knowledge Statements that could be on the state exam but also “Real
World” training and examples. AV Notary was approved by the Secretary of State
as a Education Vendor in July, 2005. The curriculum is always up to
date with the latest laws and requirements enabling the notary to
maintain the highest skill level and to always comply with state laws.
